Restrictions on Shipments
1000 Stories Wiens operates within over 50 unique sets of state laws and regulations, unique to the alcoholic beverage industry. In compliance with such laws, we must abide by certain restrictions on shipping.
We cannot ship any product to: Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah and Wyoming.
Additionally, many states have restrictions for products made outside of the U.S. and as such we cannot ship imported products to: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, and Washington.

Shipping Options
We ship using the following methods:
UPS Overnight
UPS 2Day
UPS Ground
Our default shipping method is UPS Ground. Once orders ship, time in travel will be 2 to 3 days in the Western U.S. and 5 to 7 days to the Eastern U.S. Orders placed today will typically ship the next business day. We do not ship on the weekends or holidays.
Please note, an adult signature is required to take delivery and cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
Heat Warning
During periods of extreme heat, we strongly discourage you from selecting “UPS Ground” as your shipping method. We want you to enjoy the products you purchase and you risk compromising your purchased products due to environmental factors.
We will replace or refund you for any product that is damaged, flawed, or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept the returns that were damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or that was ordered in error. Please send an email to david.head@1000storieswines.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once we received your return, we will refund your credit card account for the purchase price, less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please send an email to david.head@1000storieswines.com for return instructions.
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.
